The Alford Board of Assessors, as mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Revenue, Bureau of Local Assessment, have received preliminary certification for the triennial Fiscal year 2011 revaluation of all real and personal property in the town. The new valuations are based upon extensive market analysis, subject to final certification by the Department of Revenue. A listing of all properties in the town with old and new valuations will be available for inspection starting October 4, 2010 through October 11, 2010 in the following public places: Assessors Office, Town Offices, 5 Alford Center Road, Alford from 9am to 12 pm., and on the town website (below).
